Blistered String Beans with Sun Dried Tomatoes

You can upgrade a side dish just by adding a two other ingredients that add texture and flavor. So I bring you blistered string beans with sun dried tomatoes! They're crunchy, a little bit sweet, and healthy for you!
Blistered String Beans with Sun Dried Tomatoes

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 12 oz bag of trimmed string beans

1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes cut into strips

1/8 cup sliced almonds

salt and garlic powder to taste
Instructions

Heat a large pan over medium heat.

Add the olive oil and string beans.

Spread the string beans out into one even layer an cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring every 3-4 min. Its important to leave the string beans untouched for 3-4 minutes for them to get blistered and then flip them over to cook the other side.

Add the sun dried tomatoes and season with salt and garlic powder to your taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the almonds and serve!
