Teriyaki Meatless Meatballs

Teriyaki sauce is one of my all time favorite sauces, but I have yet to find a bottled one thats as good as making it from scratch. This recipe is a simple teriyaki sauce to make a quick semi homemade appetizer or meal! You could serve them as is on a plate with some scallions and sesame seeds or you can serve them over some rice. If you haven't already tried Beyond Meat and you are looking to cut back on your meat consumption, then I recommend giving them a try! They taste great and really soak up this yummy sauce. I hope you give this recipe a try.

Teriyaki Meatless Meatballs

  • 2 tablespoons mirin

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons raw honey

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 package Beyond Meatballs (12 meatballs)

Instructions

1. In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, mirin, and honey.

2. Grate the garlic into the sauce and give it another mix to fully combine.

3. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat and once its hot add your meatballs.

4. Sear on one side for 2 minutes, flip them over and sear for another 2 minutes.

5. Remove the meatballs and set them aside on a plate.

6. Add the sauce to the pan and let it cook for 2 minutes

7. Add the meatballs back to the pan and gently toss them to get them coated in the sauce.
